Week 4 Fantasy Hero’s By Dr. Awesome

Fellow Fantasy Geeks,

With the fantasy season in full swing, there have been some surprises so far.  Jay Cutler has come into his own as possibly a future fantasy star.  Michael Turner, Marion Barber, and Santana Moss have been solid so far.  Some of my lead pipe locks for fantasy domination will be listed below.  I will try my best to give you this week’s Ronnie Brown.  I hope you all are ruling your fantasy leagues like I am.

Hero #1 - Trent Edwards - QB Buffalo Bills

When was the last time that someone gave you advice to go with a player from the Bills.  Probably back when Chris Berman was picking them and the 49ers to go to the Superbowl.  I give this piece of advice because I am sure with the Manning brothers on a bye along with Tom Brady err Matt Cassel not playing, Edwards is probably available in most leagues.  I am pretty sure he is playing against the Rams as well who are ranked 15th in the latest Coaches poll just in front of Auburn.

Hero #2 - Brett Favre - QB  New York Jets

The weirdest thing about this pick is putting the New York Jets behind his name.  This should be a game with about 75 passes thrown between the two guys who both will be able to collect Social Security within the next few years.  Look forward to a 20 plus point game from Favre.

Hero #3 - Chris Chambers - WR  San Diego Chargers

With Phillip Rivers leading the fantasy world in stats, someone needs to benefit from his success.  This week look for it to be Chris Chambers as they travel to Oakland.  He should be able to have a few opportunities being the third option on a team with two other excellent options.

Hero #4 - Jason Witten - TE Dallas Cowboys

He is leading the team in receiving on a team that can almost score at will.  The only deal is that he doesn’t have a score yet.  I can’t imagine Witten going to many more games without getting in the end zone.  The Skins are going to key on T.O. and the running attack.  Look for Witten to run around like a kid in a candy store.

Hero #5 - Brandon Marshall -  WR Denver Broncos

I wonder if he will have 30 catches against the Chiefs D.  This should be a fun day to watch and I would be surprised if the Broncos aren’t able to put up about 45 points on Sunday.  The law of averages states that Marshall should get a good piece of the action.

Hero #6 - Ernest Graham - RB Tampa Bay Bucks

This is my pick out on a limb.  Gruden could throw 75 passes again this week or think that Green Bay thinks that he will do that so he pounds the ball into the line.  If that is the case Graham should be a major part of that offensive plan.  Flip a coin on this one.

Well fellas this is all I have for this week.  Hopefully these ideas will help someone win their fantasy matchup and make their week.
