Fantasy Brethern,

What a wild week 4 we had in the fantasy arena. I think that Brett Favre has taken that touchdown contest with Aaron Rodgers very seriously. Also Larry Johnson and LT finally had games that we have expected them to have. Look below for this week’s fantasy heros.

Hero #1 - Peyton Manning - QB Indianapolis Colts

After 2 weeks off and enough time to get back in sync with the offense look for Manning to have a big week. The Colts do not want to start 1-3 and will do everything they can do avoid it against the Texans. Look for Manning to play a big role in this.

Hero #2 - Calvin Johnson - WR Detroit Lions

With Da Bears ailing a bit in the secondary, look for Johnson to have plenty of opportunities to make plays in this game. Kitna should have to use the Icy Hot after throwing so much against Da Bears. The full health of Roy Williams will also open up chances for each and should bode well for the manchild Johnson.

Hero #3 - Marion Barber - RB Dallas Cowboys

I am pretty sure that Barber could run backwards and gain 100 yards and 1 TD against the woeful Bengals defense. It will be nice to see what Marion does when he decides to run forward instead of back.

Hero #4 - Steve Slaton - RB Houston Texans

With Bob Sanders out look for the Texans to get the ball to Slaton in the run game and the pass attack. I am not sure here, but haven’t the Colts given up a few yards to running backs over the past few years? This could be a coming out party for Slaton.

Hero #5 - Josh Scobee - K Jacksonville Jaguars

This guy might be the high point scorer amongst kickers this week. Yes, they face the vaunted Pittsburgh defense, but it is for that reason that I pick Scobee to have a big week. The Jags might have plenty of chances to score, just not touchdowns. Look for Scobee to kick anywhere from 1-15 field goals on Sunday. He will most likely not kick the 15, so if you are down by 40 with just Scobee left on Sunday night don’t hold your breath.
